Indian Army (Agniveer) Recruitment 2025

The Indian Army has officially released the Agniveer Recruitment 2025 notification under the Agnipath Scheme. This scheme offers an excellent opportunity for young individuals who wish to serve the nation in uniform for four years. Here is a comprehensive overview of the recruitment process:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Agniveer General Duty: Class 10th pass with minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
    • Agniveer Technical: Class 12 pass in Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
    • Agniveer Clerk/StoreKeeper (Technical): Class 12 pass in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
    • Agniveer Tradesmen: Class 8 or Class 10, depending on the trade.
  • Nationality: Indian citizens
  • ₹250 per category of application.
  1. Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE): Computer-based test covering subjects relevant to the applied category.
  2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes 1.6 km run, pull-ups, and 9 ft ditch jump.
  3. Medical Examination: Conducted as per Medical Standards.

  • Seva Nidhi Package: Upon completion of 4 years, Agniveers will receive approximately ₹10.04 lakhs, including their contribution and matching contribution from the government, excluding interest.
  • Insurance: Non-contributory life insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs for the duration of engagement.

  2. Registration: Click on “JCO/OR/Agniveer Apply/ Login” and registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Profile Creation: Fill in personal details, education qualifications, and other required information.
  4. Apply Online: Select the desired category and complete the application form.
  5. Payment: Pay the examination fee of ₹250 through the provided payment gateway and, you’re done.
  6. Admit Card: Download the admit card for the Online CEE from the website.
  7. Appear for Exams: Attend the Online CEE and, upon qualification, participate in the Recruitment Rally.
  • Unmarried Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible. They must remain unmarried throughout the 4-year tenure.
  • No Pension: Aginiveers are not entitled to pensionary benefits.
  • No Ex-Servicemen Status: Agniveers will not be considered Ex-Servicemen after completion of tenure.
  • Beware of frauds: The recruitment process is computerized and transparent. Do not fall prey to touts or agents.
  • Physical Fitness: Maintain physical fitness through regular exercise and balanced diet.
